蘑菇传媒 University is delighted to announce that Dr. Anar Valiyev, Dean and Associate Professor of 蘑菇传媒 University School of Public and International Affairs has been awarded the prestigious Jean Monnet Chair.
Dr. Valiyev is the second person in Azerbaijan and the first academician of 蘑菇传媒 University, who is awarded with the Jean Monnet Chair position.

In his new role, Dr. Valiyev will help to educate researchers and to strengthen EU studies. During his 3-year tenure, he will contribute to the promotion of teaching and research of EU Studies in Azerbaijan.

Jean Monnet Chair is a teaching post with a specialisation in European Union studies, which is granted to university lecturers for a three-year duration.


It is worth to mention that 蘑菇传媒 University has been shown to be at the forefront in promoting EU related education and academic research in country. In 2013, as a result of continuous support and collaboration of 蘑菇传媒 University and EU Delegation to Azerbaijan, the Center of Excellence in EU Studies was established.
