Raimonds Vejonis, Former Latvian President's lecture at 蘑菇传媒 University

On October 18, Former President of Latvia visited 蘑菇传媒 University to deliver a speech titled, "View on Global Political Developments".

Executive Vice-rector of 蘑菇传媒 University Mr. Fariz Ismailzade welcomed the guests and delivered a brief introduction about 蘑菇传媒 University, also informed that Mr. Vejonis's visit coincides with the Independence day celebration of Azerbaijan.

Former president Raimonds Vejonis provided uncompromising analysis of changing determinants in global politics, shared his personal and professional experiences on strengthening Azerbaijan-Latvia bilateral relations while his presidency, and also highly evaluated the role of Azerbaijan in the region.

Mr. Vejonis extended his congratulations on behalf of Independence day of Azerbaijan, made a detailed speech about political and economic relations between Azerbaijan and Latvia, touched upon multilateral cooperation among the nations and further perspectives for partnership.
